Stella Woodman
Stella trained at the Royal Northern College of Music. She later joined the Glyndebourne Chorus, where she remained for four years. Before joining the WNO Chorus full-time, she worked as both a freelance singer around the UK and a singing teacher in schools.
Stella’s highlights at WNO include dancing in Ainadamar with fully trained dancers, singing Handel’s Messiah at St David’s Hall and performing alongside local male voice choirs in Blaze of Glory!, a show which demonstrates the truly uplifting power of song.
In her spare time, Stella loves walking with her husband and Welsh Terrier Stanley, as well as dancing and volunteering with St John's Ambulance Cymru.
Recent engagements: German Mother Death in Venice, Opera Favourites soloist, Mrs Owen Blaze of Glory! (all WNO).
