Throughout the year Welsh National Opera take our operas to nine cities around the UK. Outside of these performances our world renowned Chorus and Orchestra tour to towns and festivals. WNO also run training programmes for young singers from the ages of 10 to 25.

What we do is not just what you see on stage. Every week we work with schools in Wales and England, enabling children to experience and explore opera as part of their school life. We also run workshops and Community Choruses, encouraging people from all walks of life to get involved with the joy of singing.

It takes a dedicated team of 230 talented professionals and many more wonderful committed supporters to do this.

What’s more, Welsh National Opera is a charity.

Please join us in sharing great opera with as many people as possible.

£5 could buy a 3 inch Harris paint brush

When building our sets Cardiff Theatrical Services (CTS) use Harris brushes for their fine quality finish, ease of use and lack of moulting
