Join us for a free family day of demonstrations, exhibitions, performances and interactive experiences
Join us for a free family day which will show you the different elements that go into putting an opera on the stage. The day will include demonstrations, exhibitions, performances and interactive experiences all taking part throughout the Wales Millennium Centre foyer.
Come along and enjoy a series of short recitals by our singers and musicians on the Glanfa stage; see how our Wigs team transform singers into the famous characters you see on stage; find out how our Props makers create the weird and wonderful items that feature on set; and have a closer look at some of the incredible costumes created by our Wardrobe department.
If you want to get a bit more involved, there will be music and singing workshops (pre-booking required) and, for the younger members of the family, the ever-popular face-painting. Let us take you into our world and show you some of our backstage secrets.
