The Marriage of Figaro in Short
The same exquisite masterpiece, shortened.
It’s supposed to be the happiest day of Figaro and Susanna’s lives but will their wedding even go ahead? Although married, Count Almaviva is determined to seduce Susanna. Unimpressed by his master, Figaro comes up with a plan to outwit him but, things don’t go quite to plan, when the young Cherubino sets his own agenda in motion.
Featuring all the ingredients of a classic opera - elegant sets and luxurious costumes - love and laughter come together in a whirlwind of clever schemes which will keep you guessing until the final note.
This shortened version of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro is performed in a relaxed and inspiring environment, with surtitles, narration and BSL.
