Alex Norton
British pianist and continuo player Alex Norton recently gained a first-class honours degree in piano performance from Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. During this time, he worked alongside John Fisher at the David Seligman Opera School as répétiteur and performer for their productions of The Turn of the Screw, The Marriage of Figaro, and La Voix Humaine. Additional RWCMD productions include Venus and Adonis, Happy End, and the first performance of Coram Boy by Dommett. He has completed a six-month exchange in Antwerp where he studied with Jeanne-Minette Cilliers and has performed as a pianist at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, recently making his concerto debut with Leeds Symphony Orchestra, performing Gershwin’s Concerto in F.
