Bethan Marlow

Bethan was recently nominated for the BAFTA Cymru Breakthrough Award and is alumni of the BFI Flare x BAFTA mentoring scheme. She is an experienced Welsh playwright, her process often involving verbatim interviews and working closely with communities across the UK. Her plays include Pijin/Pigeon (Theatr Iolo & Theatr Cymru), Bren Calon Fi (Theatr Cymru), Nyrsys (Theatr Cymru), The Mold Riots (Theatr Clwyd) and musical Feral Monster (National Theatre Wales). Bethan is currently writing feature films Madison (ieie productions/BFI) and Queer as Folk Dancing (Ffilm Cymru, co-written with Daf James). She occasionally writes on the continuing drama Pobol y Cwm (S4C) and has various TV projects in development.
