Chike Akwarandu

Bass-Baritone, Chike Akwarandu, sings with much flair and dexterity and he has also developed as a fine Choral Director and Vocal Instructor. Chike has performed as a soloist in numerous concerts, oratorios and operas in Nigeria and internationally. He obtained the Licentiate and Fellow Diplomas of the Trinity College of Music London in 2010 and 2012 respectively. He was also Chorus Master for the Pegasus Opera Company between 2017 and 2020.

Recent engagements: Soloist in Dvořák’s Te Deum (Barnet Music Society); Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 (Lambeth Youth Orchestra); Handel’s Messiah (HACS Philharmonia Chorus/Philharmonic Orchestra)
