Fflur Wyn
Overview
Welsh soprano Fflur Wyn studied at the Royal Academy of Music where she received a first-class honours degree and a DipRAM for outstanding performance from the Academy’s opera course. On the concert platform some of her most notable performances include Christmas Oratorio (Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra); Handel Jephtha (Cappella Amsterdam/Daniel Reuss); Bach B Minor Mass (Royal Northern Sinfonia/Thomas Zehetmair and Orquesta Sinfónica de Baleares) and Orff Carmina Burana (CBSO and RSNO). Previously at WNO, she has performed the roles of Jemmy Guillaume Tell, Iphis Jeptha, Blonde Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Dorinda Orlando and Alice Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Recent engagements: First Niece Peter Grimes (Royal Danish Opera); Malinka/Etherea/Kunka The Adventures of Mr Broucek (Grange Park Opera); Morgana Alcina and Euridice Orfeo ed Euridice (Opera North).
