Puccini’s timeless classic, La bohѐme, returned to Cardiff this September, bringing the cold Parisienne nights to Welsh National Opera audiences once more. Before the tragic story of love and loss goes on tour until December, we asked our Cardiff audience what they thought of the show.
Some audience members got in touch over email:
'Honestly, words fail me. The singing, the production, the venue and the orchestra were all superb'
'Quality of WNO Chorus and Orchestra was first class. The entire production was a visual delight. All the soloists had excellent voices. We were enchanted and moved in equal measure. It was one of my favourite operatic experiences, and I have been attending the opera since moving to Cardiff in 1977'
'Everything was great. The singing was beautiful. The sets were amazing, and the atmosphere was wonderful'
'A tick off my bucket list and a very enjoyable occasion. A wonderful experience and I will be back for more'
