'I enjoyed the evening very much. The Janacek was clearly a very challenging work with an unusual story. The WNO cast and orchestra performed it beautifully'
'What an extraordinary opera the Makropulos Affair is! The final act was so powerful. I left with many reflections on mortality and what we life for. I attended the pre-performance talk and that was informative and helpful, particularly as I was unfamiliar with the opera'
