As we head towards the opening of Welsh National Opera’s Autumn 2024 Season with new productions of Verdi’s Rigoletto and Puccini’s Il trittico, this September also sees the arrival of WNO’s streamlined membership scheme.
Welsh National Opera Members provide vital support to the Company, enabling us to produce world class opera and award-winning community work. In return, Members have access to glimpses backstage, regular Company updates and exclusive content, and access to dress rehearsals, events and more.
In these turbulent times, WNO can only sustain its exceptional opera productions, renowned artists, nurture young talent and maintain its remarkable community projects with the continued help of our amazing supporters.
From just £6.25 per month, you can become a WNO Member and be part of our story: securing WNO’s future, so that we can continue to bring wonderful WNO opera and work to audiences and participants across Wales and England.

In the 2023/2024 Season, 1,054 of you have supported us as Members of WNO Friends and the newly named Patron schemes.
Members also helped us raise over £60,000 to support our 2023/2024 productions which included our ground-breaking and critically acclaimed Death in Venice(Britten) and remarkable triple opera Il trittico.
WNO membership has helped us stage five operas, numerous concert tours, visit 15 performance venues across Wales and England, and raise £1.5 million that supports the work of the whole Company, on stage and off, and serve our communities.
