Adam Gilbert
Overview
Adam Gilbert trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the National Opera Studio, London, initially as a baritone. After transitioning to the tenor voice, Adam joined Welsh National Opera for a year as an Associate Artist. His roles as a tenor include Father Seven Deadly Sins (Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires), Dad/Queen of Hearts Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Steva Jenůfa, Passenger/High Oracle and cover Adnan/Zayed Al Wasl, cover Pinkerton Madame Butterfly (Welsh National Opera), cover Rodolfo La bohème (English National Opera), cover Marc Les Naufrageurs (Glyndebourne Festival Opera) and Florestan Fidelio (Opra Cymru).
Recent engagements: Emlyn Blaze of Glory! and Rodolfo La bohème (Opera Holland Park).
