
Alastair Postlethwaite
Alastair Postlethwaite was born in Preston and trained at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Alastair has developed a diverse career as a dancer and choreographer, performing on Broadway and the West End, for television and film. He served as choreographer and movement director for The Prom (Stagebox) and the National Youth Theatre’s 60th anniversary performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre and Buckingham Palace. He was also Associate Chorographer for Cats, Carousel and Miranda New Year Special (BBC). In opera, Alastair has performed in Tocsa, Don Giovanni and Peter Grimes (Royal Opera House). In TV and Film, Alastair has appeared as a Season 1 Finalist of So You Think You Can Dance, and in the Royal Variety Performance, Matthew Bourne’s White Christmas, Beyond the Sea, Emma and Last Night in Soho.
