Albert Faura was born in Barcelona and trained at the city’s Institut del Teatre. As a lighting director in opera, theatre and dance he has worked with such directors and choreographers as Núria Espert, Adolfo Marsillach, Josep Maria Flotats and Nicolas Joel. Faura has won six Butaca Awards, two Max Awards and the Premio de la Crítica de Barcelona for two years in a row.
