Angus studied at the Royal Northern College of Music from 1978-82.
Prior to joining WNO, Angus worked as a contract player with Opera North and The Hallé. He was also an extra player with the Northern Sinfonia, BBC Northern/Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Scottish Opera amongst others.
Angus most enjoys being part of the orchestra: ‘for the magnificent scores that we play’.
Away from WNO, Angus enjoys walking in the countryside, sourcing and drinking great wines, listening to and performing music.
