Anjali Mehra
Anjali joined Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures Dance company in 1999 after graduating from Central School of Ballet, London. She performed Glenda Play without Words; Irina The Red Shoes; The Queen /Unsuitable Girlfriend Swan Lake; The Stepmother Cinderella and Sugar Nutcracker! She has also performed in Kiss Me, Kate at Théâtre du Châtelet and in the films World War Z and Alexander. Notably, she was a member of the original cast of Bombay Dreams (produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber). Her choreography highlights include Spike by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman; Jacob Lenz (English National Opera); Dick Whittington (Watford Palace Theatre) and L’Orfeo (Silent Opera). Recently, she was Movement Director for Stravinsky’s Mavra and Schoenberg’s Pierrot lunaire (Royal Opera House).
