Anna Siminska
Overview
Anna Siminska was born in Lodz, Poland and studied at the Frédéric Chopin Music Academy, Warsaw, and Graz University of the Arts. She made her international debut in 2007 as Adele (Die Fledermaus) at the Schlosstheater, Schönbrunn and her debut in 2015 as Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte) at Opera Bastille. Since then she has sung Queen of the Night around the world, for companies including Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House, Hamburg State Opera, Komische Oper Berlin, Washington National Opera, Berlin State Opera, Dresden Semperoper, Opera in Tokyo and Oper Frankfurt. Other engagements include the Salzburg Festival, Adele (Der Fledermaus) for Vienna State Opera, Clorinda (La Cenerentola) in Glyndebourne, Dew Fairy (Hansel und Gretel) at the Royal Opera, Rossignol (Le Rossignol) for Polish National Opera, and Blumenmaedchen (Parsifal) at the Bayreuth Festival. This is her debut with WNO.
