Annie George

Annie George studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama’s David Seligman Opera School, graduating with Distinction in MA Advanced Opera Performance in 2021.

She made her WNO debut in 2023 as Blodwen in Hackbridge-Johnson’s Blaze of Glory! She has since continued her relationship with the Company, covering in their Schools Concert and Play Opera LIVE! She also covered the role of Second Conversa in Suor Angelica.

Other roles include: Rosina The Barber of Seville, Mrs Grose The Turn of the Screw, Madame Flora The Medium, Madame Popova The Bear and The Witch Hansel and Gretel.

Recent engagements include: Page Rigoletto (Opera Holland Park) and Mari The Flying Dutchman (OperaUpClose, as an Associate Artist). Annie also sang in the Chorus for Glyndebourne Festival Opera’s Summer and Autumn 2025 Season.
