Barry McDonald

Barry was born in Derry, Northern Ireland. He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow and graduated with a BA in Technical Production Arts in 2011. He has been a Lighting Supervisor and Re-lighter for Scottish Opera for the past 10 years.

Recent engagements: Lighting Supervisor and Re-Lighter for Carmen 2023, Ainadamar 2022, The Gondoliers, Kátya Kabanová and Eugene Onegin (Scottish Opera).
