Belinda Chapman

Belinda trained at English National Ballet School and she is a fellow of The Arts Foundation as a Creator of Theatre for Young People. She has performed leading roles for Matthew Bourne's New Adventures company in Swan Lake, The Car Man, Cinderella, Play Without Words and The Nutcracker!

Other engagements include Faust and Parsifal (ENO); Masquerade and La Belle Helen (Royal Opera House) The Maids (Battersea Arts Centre); Mahabharata (Sadlers Wells, National Theatre and Bunkamura Japan); Ruby and the Big Top (UK Tour).

Belinda’s movement direction and choreography includes Jekyll & Hyde (National Theatre); Wolfie (Theatre 503); Girl With The Iron Claws (Dartington); War Torn (Theatre Royal Plymouth); The Night Time Whisperers (Corn Exchange Newbury); The Odstock Curse (Sailsbury Arts Centre); The Maids (BAC); Pandora’s Box-Company of Angels and Sheila Play Without Words (New Adventures/National Theatre); The Hunt (BAFTA cinema).
