Benedict Nelson

An inaugural Harewood Artist with English National Opera, British baritone Benedict Nelson has recently performed Bach’s St Matthew Passion (Dunedin Consort); Masetto Don Giovanni (Nevill Holt Opera); Mahler’s Symphony No 8 (Cheltenham Festival); and Where the Wild Things Are with Shadwell Opera in Germany.

Recent engagements: Demetrius A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Vienna State Opera); Simone Eine Florentinische Tragödie (Opera Bilbao); Maxwell Davies’s Eight Songs For A Mad King (Pierrot Ensemble); Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast (the Hallé).
