Benson Wilson

New Zealand-born Sāmoan baritone Benson Wilson is winner of the 64th Kathleen Ferrier Award, the Most Outstanding Overseas Performer of the Royal Overseas League Competition, the Worshipful Company of Musicians Award, Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Foundation Award and People’s Choice Award 2018. A Harewood Artist at English National Opera in 20/21, a Samling and former National Opera Studio Young Artist. Roles include Schaunard La bohème (ENO Drive & Live); Marullo Rigoletto (Glyndebourne on Tour); John Shears Paul Bunyan (ENO); Mirza Der Gesang Der Zauberinsel (Salzburger Festspiele); Guglielmo Così fan tutte, Count Almaviva Le Nozze di Figaro (Bloomsbury Opera); Schabernack Le Grand Macabre (London Symphony Orchestra).
