Catherine Morgan

Catherine is a London-based set and costume designer who trained at Nottingham Trent University.  She has worked on a great range of theatre and opera productions. Recent design credits include Berlin to Broadway (Opera North, Leeds Playhouse), Othello Remixed (Omnibus Theatre), Salad Days (Union Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal).She has assisted a number of renowned designers and as Associate Designer her credits include: Un Ballo in Maschera (Grange Park Opera), Barber Shop Chronicles (National Theatre, Australia/ New Zealand Tour, North American Tour), The Hairy Ape (Old Vic, Park Avenue Armory; New York), I Puritani (Welsh National Opera, Liceu; Barcelona), La Voix Humaine/Dido and Aeneas (Opera North).  In 2017 Catherine participated in the finals of the Dutch Opera Design Award at Dutch National Opera. Catherine works regularly with the National Theatre to develop and deliver theatre design workshops for young people.
