Charles St John

London born tenor Charles St John was encouraged by his teacher Tim Ward to pursue singing as a career. He is now studying as a postgraduate at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Jonathan Gunthorpe. Roles at the Conservatoire have included Le petit vieillard L'enfant et les sortilèges and Martin in the first ever performance of Michael Wolters' Ava’s Wedding. More recently, he has given his cross-dress debut as Madame Poiretapée Mesdames de la Halle.
