Chetham's Opera Chorus

Chetham’s Chorus is made up of the senior vocal students from Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester. They perform throughout the year in a variety of settings from consort singing, symphonic choral repertoire, opera scenes and solo song. Chetham’s vocalists perform across the UK and are looking forward to staging their first opera in July 2025 when they’ll perform Ravel’s L'enfant et les sortilèges. The vocal department is led by Marcus Farnsworth along with tutors, Libby Burgess, Jennifer Clark, Helen Francis, Kate Huddie, Margaret McDonald, Stuart Overington and Kathryn Rudge.
