Christopher Lemmings

British tenor Christopher Lemmings’s career has seen him singing repertoire spanning five centuries, nine languages and more than fifty individual roles.

Recent engagements include: Clarence | Tyrrel Richard III, Bill A Hand of Bridge (Teatro La Fenice); Jack O’Brien Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny (Reggio Emilia, Parma); Sellem The Rake’s Progress (Rennes, Angers | Nantes); Second Jew Salome, Cinna Julius Caesar, Old Prisoner | Kedril From The House Of The Dead, Prinz | Marquis Lulu (Rome); Caliban The Tempest (RBO); Mayor Albert Herring (Florence); Dormouse Alice In Wonderland (LA Philharmonic); and Porcus Jeanne d’Arc au Bûcher (Spoleto).

For Glyndebourne, Christopher has sung Bartholomew The Last Supper, Maestro di Ballo Manon Lescaut, Death | Parpignol La bohème, Tito La clemenza di Tito, and Lechmere Owen Wingrave.
