Claudia Boyle
Irish soprano Claudia Boyle studied at Dublin’s Royal College of Music and the Royal Irish Academy of Music. A former member of the Salzburger Festspiele’s Young Singers Project, Claudia is also the winner of the First Prize and the Critics’ Award of the Maria Callas competition in Verona. Career highlights include Konstanze Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma & Komische Oper Berlin), Alice Alice’s Adventures Underground (The Royal Opera House), Adina L’elisir d’Amore (Semperoper Dresden and Den Norske Opera), Leila The Pearl Fishers (English National Opera), Tytania A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Gilda Rigoletto (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma), and Lucia Lucia di Lammermoor (Danish National Opera). She is delighted to make her WNO Company debut in Candide.
