Daniel Norman
Dan Norman lives in Oxford, where as a student he was a choral scholar at New College, Oxford. While at university he read Engineering and went on to study in the US and Canada and at the Royal Academy of Music. Dan has built an impressive career both on the opera stage and the concert platform, working with companies including English National Opera, Royal Opera House, L’Opéra National de Paris, Bayerische Staatsoper, Bergen National Opera, Fondazione di Arena di Verona and Opera Boston. On the concert platform he has performed with Het Gelders Orkest, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia Taiwan, and the Chamber Orchestra of Belgium; with appearances at the BBC Proms, Three Choirs Festivals, Aldeburgh Festival, and Oxford Lieder Festival.
Recent/future engagements: Sellem The Rake’s Progress (Glyndebourne on Tour); Chairman Mao Nixon in China (Staatstheater Hannover); Kaliboul Barkouff and Pirelli Sweeney Todd (Opera Zurich).
