Edmond Choo

Edmond Choo is an Australian lyric-coloratura tenor based in the UK. After graduating with a BA in Music Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2008, Edmond joined Opera Australia’s full-time Chorus, performing and covering numerous roles including Hadji in Lakme and Faninal Major-Domo in Der Rosenkavalier.

Edmond moved to the UK in 2011 and has since performed with ROH, WNO, ENO, Grange Park Opera and Opera Holland Park. He was also a semi-finalist for the Kathleen Ferrier Award in 2013. In 2015, Edmond made his role debut as Arturo in I Puritani (WNO). Other roles and covers at WNO include: Prince Golitsyn Khovanshchina, Sergeant Snell In Parenthesis, Pirelli Sweeney Todd, Arnold Guillaume Tell, Naked Youth Moses und Aron and Lord Percy Anna Bolena.
