Meet WNO

Erin Rossington

Soprano Erin Rossington is a 2024/2025 WNO Associate Artist. She was raised near Llanfair Talhaiarn in North Wales and studied for her undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and her postgraduate degree and on the opera course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Her roles include Maguelonne Cendrillon, Miss Fortune Miss Fortune, Mimì La bohème, Fiordiligi Così fan tutte, and Vitellia La clemenza di Tito. Erin made her Aldeburgh Festival debut as Ina in TIDE in 2022 and performed as Lady Billows in Albert Herring for Clonter Opera. Erin is a regular on the competition platform, having won the International Voice of the Future award at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, the RNCM’s 2019 Elizabeth Harwood Memorial Prize, and the Towyn Roberts Scholarship at the National Eisteddfod of Wales 2023. She was also selected as a finalist for the Vincerò competition in Verona in 2023.
