Firenza Guidi

Milan-born, award-winning, Firenza Guidi is a circus, theatre and film auteur/director and performance creator. She first directed NoFit State Circus in 1995 and she has since contributed to placing the Wales-based company on the international map with her seminal shows ImMortal, Tabú, Bianco, Lexicon and more recently, Sabotage. She trained as a performer/singer with international masters including Dario Fo, Philippe Gaulier, Ludwig Flaszen, Enrique Pardo, Ida Kelarova and as an actress at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. She has a PhD in Renaissance Tragedy and an MA in Film, her feature film Four Yellow Daffodils premiered in Italy last year. She has created and directed scores of site-specific performances internationally. Her Creation Centre in Italy is now a sought-after destination for professionals worldwide and a hub for experimentation, formation and creation.
