Gerald Tyler

Gerald is a long-standing figure in the theatre and dance scene of South Wales. Since arriving in Wales in around1990, he has devised andsupportedscoresof independent theatre makers, both as aperformer anda technicianwhileproducinghisown site-specificperformances. Gerald has also been a core member of several Cardiff-based physical theatre companies including Earthfall and Brith Gof, and has been a serial collaborator with National Theatre Wales and the immersive theatre maker Caroline Sabin. HeportrayedtheCondemnedManinPhilip Glass’schamberoperaInthePenalColony(Music Theatre Wales).On screen, he can be seen shooting at bad guys, hunting monsters or even powdering wigs in the recently released Alice Lowe sci-fi romance Timestalker.
