Grace Nyandoro

Soprano Grace has been praised for her ‘warmly inflected and expressive singing’ (Opera magazine). Her operatic roles include Musetta La bohème (King’s Head Theatre); Rooster / Jay The Cunning Little Vixen (Opera Holland Park); Aksinya Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk (Birmingham Opera Company); title role Treemonisha (Spectra Ensemble, Grimeborn Festival). An ardent proponent of new works, she has performed Adama Rachel The Pied Piper of Chibok (Opera North); Liminal, a one-woman production (Kings Head Theatre, London). She recently performed the role of Grace in Her Day, an opera commissioned for the Coventry City of Culture Festival.
