Greg Eldridge
Australian stage director Greg Eldridge initially trained in Florence before joining the Young Artist programme at the Royal Opera House, where he was appointed the inaugural Jette Parker Associate Director. A former Bayreuth Scholar, Greg has worked on over 80 productions across 11 countries, and at leading international houses including the Volksoper Wien, Scottish Opera, Guangzhou Opera House, Den Norske Opera, Houston Grand Opera, The Israeli Opera, Oper Frankfurt, The Icelandic Opera, Opera Australia, and Glyndebourne Festival Opera, winning several directing awards. Greg is a trained Intimacy Director and former board member of Stage Directors UK. Greg is also Professor of Opera Directing at the University of Cincinnati, and Executive Director of Opera Project Columbus, a non-profit company dedicated to rediscovering works by Black and African-American composers.
