Meet WNO

Howard Kirk

Tenor

Born in Leicestershire, Howard studied at the Royal College of Music and also took the Opera course at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Prior to joining the WNO Chorus in 2004, he performed for Wexford Festival Opera, English Touring Opera, Glyndebourne Festival and Touring opera, and ENO.

Outside of WNO, Howard enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking sourdough bread and cooking home-grown produce from his allotment. He is also a keen beekeeper.

Roles at WNO include: Baron Candide, Gaston La traviata, Benoit La bohѐme, Monostatos The Magic Flute.
