​Joan Anton Rechi

Joan Anton Rechi was born in Andorra and studied theatre at Barcelona’s Instituto del Teatro and history at the University of Barcelona. He began his career as an actor in film, theatre and television and later became a director, working mostly in theatre in Spain. Rechi’s professional directing debut in opera was in Barcelona in 2003 with Offenbach’s Orphée aux enfers and since then his repertoire has included a wide variety of styles and periods.
