John Ieuan Jones
Welsh baritone John Ieuan Jones completed his studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, generously supported by The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, the Drapers’ Company and the Sybil Tutton Opera Award by Help Musicians UK. Ieuan has travelled internationally as a concert performer, singing throughout the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. His highlights include being featured as a guest soloist at the Festival of Male Voice Choirs (Royal Albert Hall); performing with Sir Bryn Terfel in the National Eisteddfod’s opening concert (Wales Millennium Centre); and as guest soloist at the North America Festival of Wales in the Perelman Theatre, Philadelphia. Ieuan made his National Theatre debut last year in The Corn is Green directed by Dominic Cooke.
Recent engagements: Boyar Sheloga/Bomley Ivan the Terrible (Grange Park Opera) and Guglielmo Così Fan Tutte (Opra Cymru).
