Katherine Macauley

Katherine made her first professional opera appearance as the lead in The Enchanted Pig (Buxton International Festival).  She graduated from University of Manchester with first class honours where she studied with Catherine Mikic. During her final year, she was awarded the Procter-Gregg Prize for best third year recital. She also reached the UK final of the Rotary Club’s vocal competition.  Katherine has sung and performed with many ensembles including Andrew Wilson Dixon’s Welsh Camerata, The Hallé Chorus and Manchester Cathedral Choir.
