Kelvin Lim

Kelvin Lim was born in London and trained at the Royal College of Music. He is a Conductor and Vocal Coach who is known especially for his expertise in the dramatic repertoire of Wagner, and has worked with many companies including RBO, ENO, Opera Holland Park, Grange Park Opera and English Touring Opera. He has assisted Steuart Bedford, Anthony Negus and Odaline de la Martinez and has conducted many operas. He also has a longstanding affiliation with Longborough Festival Opera, working on all of the company’s Wagner productions.

Kelvin is Musical Director for Opera Scenes at Trinity Laban, has led Opera Scenes at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and is a frequent panellist for ROH Chorus auditions. He is a Bayreuth Bursary awardee and is Musical Director for Mastersingers which supports young dramatic voices.

Recent engagements: Conductor Water (Arcola Theatre), Assistant Conductor Island of Dreams (Grange Park Opera), Opera Royale double bill (Pegasus Opera) and Turandot (Instant Opera).
