Kevin McCurdy
Kevin is a co-founder of The Academy of Performance Combat and is a combat tutor at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where he originally trained as an actor and fight tutor. He has lived in Cardiff for 30 years. Theatre and opera work includes Sister Act (Dominion Theatre); Les Misérables (Sondheim Theatre); The Phantom of The Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre); Bajazet (INO tour); Carmen, The Barber of Seville (Garsington Opera); Mandela, The Homecoming (Young Vic); Red Pitch (Soho Place); Trouble in Butetown (Donmar Warehouse); Brokeback Mountain (Soho Place); The Wizard of Oz (London Palladium); Stranger Things (Phoenix Theatre); An Officer and a Gentleman (UK tour); Player Kings (Noel Coward). TV and film work includes Protein, Scopophobia (Broadside Films); Until I Kill You (Amazon); Bariau (S4C Wales). Directing work includes The Saliva Milkshake; The Glass Menagerie; Making of a Motherer; Jekyll and Hyde The Musical; The Welsh Dragon.
