Laura Helene Hansen

Laura Helene Hansen is from Hinnerup, Denmark, and trained at the Royal Academy of Music, Copenhagen, and the Opera Academy of the Royal Danish Opera, where her roles included Cio-Cio-San, Contessa Almaviva, Manon Lescaut, Die Marschallin and Elisabetta. She was the recipient of the 2024 Edith Allers Mindelegat Scholarship and was the subject of the Danish television series The Next Diva, which followed her journey towards opera performance. She also voiced a character in the critically-acclaimed television series Agnes, and is a 2025 recipient of the Léonie Sonnings Talent Prize. Her future engagements include: Donna Anna Don Giovanni (Den Jyske Opera).

Recent engagements: Tredje For højt, for vildt, og for meget! (World Premiere at the Royal Theatre, Copenhagen), Wesendonck Lieder with the SymfUni Copenhagen, Senta Die Fliegende Hollander (Opera I Provinsen).
