Llinos was raised in Pwllheli and learnt the piano with her grandmother, before attending Chetham's School of Music in the sixth form where she studied the bassoon and contrabassoon. After further study at the University of Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music, Llinos spent an enjoyable year with the Southbank Sinfonia, and began freelancing with orchestras including the Royal Opera House, The Hallé and BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Llinos spent eight happy years as sub principal bassoon and contrabassoon with Birmingham Royal Ballet, before joining WNO in 2022.
Following a car accident in 2009, Llinos now trains and competes with the GB Paralympic Kayaking Team. She is also a presenter on S4C's popular series Cynefin.
