Malcolm Rippeth

Lighting Designer

Malcolm originally comes from the North East of England and studied Drama at the University of Hull. His previous work for WNO includes War and Peace, In Parenthesis and The Seven Deadly Sins.

Other recent opera productions include Carmen (Glyndebourne); Madame Butterfly (Royal Danish Opera); Rusalka (Santa Fe); Orpheus in the Underworld (ENO); The Turn of the Screw (Garsington); Ivan the Terrible (Grange Park); The Coronation of Poppea (Opera North); Hercules (Bäyerisches Staatstheater); Stiffelio (Opéra national du Rhin); La Belle Hélène (Opéra national de Lorraine); Breaking the Waves (Theater St Gallen).
