Martin Lloyd

Martin Lloyd comes from Swansea. He is a graduate of Aberystwyth University and McMaster University in Canada.

He was a full-time member of the WNO Chorus for eighteen years until the end of 2024. Before that he combined working as a singer, teacher and education adviser. He also enjoyed notable success in the Eisteddfod competition, including the Ruban Glas prize at the National Eisteddfod in 2004.

While working full-time for WNO, Martin performed numerous roles including Count Ceprano in Rigoletto, Dr Grenvil in La traviata, Alcindoro in La bohème and Mr Christmas in the original production of Blaze of Glory!.
