Mathilde Lopez

Mathilde Lopez is Artistic Director of August 012 where she has directed original and successful productions of Caligula, Roberto Zucco, Yuri, Les Misérables and Highway One. A founder member of National Theatre Wales, she has worked at Theatre Royal Stratford East and as a freelance director for WNO, NTW, Longborough Opera Festival and Festival Of Voice.

Recent engagements: Translating / adapting Wanted Petula (National Theatre Wales / August 012) and leading The Agency (Agencia de Redes) in Cardiff, an innovative Brazilian program for young people.
