Nathalie Pallandre

Nathalie was born and raised near Lyon, France, where she studied art, textile and costume design. During her early years, she worked with Groupe Kraft as an actress and costume designer.

In 2004, she co-created Rouge Velvet, a collective costume studio which until 2011 created costume for opera, dance and theatre. Since 2006, Nathalie has designed costume for dance, theatre and short film. Since 2011, she has been an assistant designer for opera directors including Simon McBurney, John Full James, Christophe Honoré, James Bonas and Tobias Kratzer.
