Nathanaël Tavernier
French bass Nathanaël Tavernier studied in Geneva. From 2020 to 2023, he was a fest member of the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe, where he sang roles including First Apprentice Wozzeck, King Aida, Basilio Il barbiere di Siviglia, Badger/Priest The Cunning Little Vixen, Commendatore Don Giovanni, Sarastro Die Zauberflöte, Zuniga Carmen and Emireno Ottone. Other roles include Le Médecin Pelléas et Mélisande at the Opéra-Comique Paris, and Osmin Die Entführung aus dem Serail across France. Most recently, he sang François Totrebat Die schwarze Maske for Polish National Radio with Marin Alsop, Adamas Les Boréades in Oldenburg, Second Soldier Salome for the Opéra de Metz, and reprised Emireno Ottone in Karlsruhe.
Recent and future engagements: Sarastro Die Zauberflöte (Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn), Nourabad Les Pêcheurs de Perles (Opéra de Dijon), Ruffini Masaniello and Tutor Le Comte Ory (Krakow).
