Njabulo Madlala

Njabulo Madlala studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and at the Cardiff International Academy of Voice. In 2010 he won the Kathleen Ferrier Award. He has performed with companies including The Royal Opera, Bergen National Opera, English National Opera, English Touring Opera, Scottish Opera, Grange Park Opera and Opera Holland Park. Concert highlights include Beethoven’s Symphony No 9 with the Minnesota Orchestra and Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Recent engagements: Prince Yamadori Madam Butterfly (English National Opera); Jim Porgy and Bess (ENO, Dutch National Opera, Theater an der Wien); Aswini Twin in Ravi Shankar’s Sukanya (ROH/LPO)
