
Noemí Luz
Noemí Luz is a flamenco dancer from London now based in Spain and the UK. She received classical dance training at Elmhurst Ballet School and Central School of Ballet before being mentored in traditional flamenco with Yolanda Heredida for six years in Seville. She has performed at venues in Spain such as Tablao Arenal, Casa de la Guitarra, Peña Perla de Cadiz and on CanalSur TV and RTVE. Noemí is co-director of Luz & Mannion Dance (formerly Dotdotdot Dance) who have performed in Sampled (Sadler’s Wells, 2017) and whose productions include No Frills (Flamenco y Mestizos, Madrid 2016). Noemí’s choreography work includes The Ugly Truth (Coetani Experimental Flamenco Festival 2016) and Into Being (Sadler's Wells Takeover/National Theatre River Stage 2018).
Recent engagements: Choreography Life, Melvin, is a fish (Teatro de la Maestranza, Seville 2021), and Luz & Mannion projects include In Body (original commission, Sadler’s Wells), Dancenet Sweden 2019, Blue Ghost (UK Premiere Tour 2023) and Dancing Nation (Sadler’s Wells and BBC Arts, 2021).
