Oleksiy Palchykov
Ukrainian tenor Oleksiy Palchykov studied the trumpet and choral singing in his hometown Kyiv, before honing his skills at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy under Petr Koval. In 2012 he joined the Atelier Lyrique (Paris National Opera) and performed Gernando L’Isola disabitata, Ecclitico Il Mondo della luna, Chorus The Rape of Lucretia, Don Ottavio Don Giovanni and Pylade Iphigénie en Tauride. In 2017 he joined the Hamburg Staatsoper Ensemble. Most recently he has performed the roles of Lensky Eugene Onegin and Fenton Falstaff (Komische Oper Berlin), Cassio Otello (Munich), Don Ottavio Don Giovanni (Zurich & Glyndebourne Festival).
